Thoughts about SUSTAINABILITY

My husband and I recently planted our early spring vegetables, adding compost that was created from our yard and kitchen waste. I think it's amazing how last season's waste becomes this season's resource. As a result of this process, I've been thinking alot about SUSTAINABILITY...I tend to do research on things I think about. I realized that sustainability goes WAY beyond “green practices” when I discovered the concept of 'organizational sustainability', which businesses employ to streamline their practices

This got me thinking: HOW CAN I APPLY THE PRACTICES OF SUSTAINABILITY IN MY LIFE? As I applied what I learned, I began receiving noticeable results. Whenever this happens, I feel compelled to share my findings...so I developed a workshop: Creating Sustainable Solutions for Your Life

So, let me ask you:

Is there an area of your life that could use an overhaul?
Maybe you'd like to develop some healthy life habits, streamline your business practices or cultivate a more balanced home life. What ever area it is, this workshop is designed to help you develop those practices that support and sustain your goal in a healthy, balanced way.

*       *       *
Discover how to utilize the principles of sustainability in any life area and build a framework for success by:
  • Learning about the components of sustainability - social, environmental, economic - and how they apply to your life
  • identifying a life area that would most benefit from sustainable practices
  • creating an authentic vision through collage and vision-mapping
  • discovering how to apply the practices of sustainability: creating closed loops, developing symbiotic relationships, turning waste into a resource
  • developing a strategy to implement sustainable practices in your life

*       *       *
Sustainability is much more than 'being green'. It's about developing practices to fulfill present needs that support and sustain the healthy fulfillment of future needs.
