PUBLIC WORKSHOP - Connecting with a Spirit of Gratitude

There's been a lot of moving and shaking going on here in Oklahoma that's thrown some of us off center. The holiday season has that effect on many of us as well. It doesn't seem right that the season that reflects gratitude, compassion and connection ends up leaving us stressed and overwhelmed. My family has taken steps to minimize some of the stressors, like: we are hosting a potluck Thanksgiving so everyone has something they like to eat and we have MUCH less to cook and clean up. This Christmas we decided to go on an adventure instead of spending a bunch of money on STUFF.

On New Years Eve, I have a ritual of writing about the blessings I experienced in the passing year...so I don't leave the year without recognizing the gifts that came to me. Looking back over the last 6 years I noticed that I had only written about the good things. The good things are certainly a gift but when I dug a little deeper, I realized that the difficulties and challenges that I went through brought about a much deeper quality of growth, gratitude and grace. So, I decided to create a workshop that offers participants the opportunity to sort through ALL of the gifts of this year...not just the ones in sparkly wrappings.

There are treasures locked up within EVERY experience. Gratitude is the key.

On November 20th, why not Cultivate a Spirit of Gratitude by:
  • revealing previous challenges that transformed your life in positive ways
  • Identifying new strengths and skills that were developed as a result of your experiences in 2011
  • developing gratitude as a vehicle for transforming challenges into triumphs
  • cultivating new insights that came out of positive 2011 experiences to transform your challenging experiences into treasures that can be carried into 2012

By the end of the workshop, you will have created a gratitude map, a three paneled Visioning collage and practical insights to take home. You will also take home ideas for developing small daily practices to keep you connected with the spirit of gratitude.

Enrollment closes on November 18th and space is limited!
